About the Event

Join us for an evening of film, conversation, and community as we premiere DRINK: The Poisoning of America, a provocative new documentary examining the hidden costs of alcohol and the powerful forces that shape how we understand, market, and consume it.

This special fundraiser event offers an opportunity to be among the first to see the film and to hear directly from its director, James Swanick, former ESPN anchor and founder of a global alcohol-free movement. Following the screening, James and the filmmakers will join us for an exclusive conversation about the making of the film, the issues it explores, and the growing movement to rethink alcohol's place in our culture.

Tuesday, September 29 | 6:30–9:00 PM at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel.

6:30–7:00 PM — Light hors d'oeuvres & gathering

7:00–8:30 PM — Screening of Attractively Packaged Poison

8:30–9:00 PM — Post-film discussion with the filmmakers
