For the second time, we are excited to hold an Advocates Institute. Held the day before AP19, attendees will have the opportunity to learn strategies for translating alcohol policy research into public health practice in a setting with fellow advocates from across the country.

About the Event
At the Advocates Institute, participants will learn from national experts with a goal to providing a translational emphasis in preparation for the science-focus of Alcohol Policy 19 immediately following the institute.
The Advocate Institute is open only to local- and state-level advocates from nonprofits and public health agencies with a commitment that they and their organization are free of commercial interests, including alcohol industry influence. Registration for the Advocate Institute is open only to those also attending and registering for the AP19 Conference that immediately follows the institute.
The institute will convene at 9:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 and again from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. The Advocate Institute will conclude in time for participants to join AP19 when it begins at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
